What you type stays in your browser

Every Fabric Marsh calculator runs entirely in your browser. Lengths, widths, weights, prices, pattern pieces and project names are worked out on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else. The site has no accounts, no forms that submit data and no server code.

What is stored on your device

• Fabric cost calculator: your list of materials and settings, saved in your browser's local storage under the key fabricmarsh-cost, so the list is there when you come back. “Start again” deletes it.
• Pattern layout estimator: your fabric settings and pattern pieces, under fabricmarsh-layout. “Clear all pieces” empties the list.
• Colour theme: if you choose light or dark, that choice is saved under fabricmarsh-theme.

Local storage stays on your device and is not sent with requests. Clearing your browser's site data for fabricmarsh.cfd removes all of it.

Analytics

The site is served by Cloudflare, which adds Cloudflare Web Analytics to its pages. It counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking, and it never receives what you type into the calculators. Fabric Marsh sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or other trackers.

Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, including our sister sites and the free services CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies; nothing about your use of Fabric Marsh is passed to them when you follow a link, apart from the usual referrer information your browser sends.
